3 Requirements

3.1 Overview

The system includes a pointing device with gyro stabilization function, as well as display, control and video equipment in the cab. The director is installed on the ship with a wide field of vision. It can observe and monitor the targets on the water surface through the high-performance color television camera system in the daytime and the infrared thermal imager and laser night vision system at night, so as to achieve the purpose of safe sailing, finding targets, on-site law enforcement, and timely obtaining evidence.

When the ship shakes, the director with gyro stability can effectively isolate the ship's swing, so that the camera lens installed in it is always aimed at the target, so that the rear end can get a stable image. There is a controller in the cabin. The user can control the direction of the pointer, aim at the target, and take the forensics picture.

3.1.1 Composition

The system is mainly composed of photoelectric pointing device installed in the open field of vision on the ship and display and control equipment installed in the ship.

The EVA director is composed of high-performance TV camera system, infrared thermal imager, laser illuminator, two-axis turntable, gyro servo stabilization system, etc.

TV camera system: composed of a telephoto lens and a high-definition color CCD camera.

Infrared thermal imager: composed of dual-field switching infrared lens and uncooled infrared thermal imager.

Laser illuminator: composed of laser head, spot shaping lens and constant current power supply.

Turntable: composed of azimuth seat, pitch package and support structure.

Gyro stabilized servo tracking system: composed of gyroscope, control unit, servo tracking actuator, etc.

Display and control equipment: composed of control rod, control button, LCD and hard disk video recorder.

3.1.2 Interface

3.1.2.1 Control interface

DN60S marine photoelectric tracking and forensics system can be controlled by other keyboards or software, and can also be seamlessly connected with the ship's closed-circuit monitoring system. The specifications of the control interface are as follows:

Interface type: RS-485 baud rate: 9600bps

Data bit: 8 Check bit: none

Stop bit: 1 Data format: PELCO-D

3.1.2.2 Radar guidance interface (users do not need ARPA guidance and can not connect to ARPA radar)

The system can be connected with the ship's ARPA radar to obtain relevant data. The interface specifications are as follows:

Interface type: RS-485 baud rate: 4800bps

Data bit: 8 Check bit: none

Stop bit: 1 Data format: NMEA-0183

Statement requirements: TTM, OSD

3.1.2.3 gyrocompass interface (if the user has GPS/Beidou, the gyrocompass can not be connected)

The system can be connected with the ship's gyrocompass to obtain the heading information. The interface specifications are as follows:

Interface type: RS-485 baud rate: 4800bps

Data bit: 8 Check bit: none

Stop bit: 1 Data format: NMEA-0183

Statement requirements: HDT

The gyrocompass is mainly used to obtain heading information. If GPS is connected, the system can obtain dynamic heading information from GPS, and the gyrocompass can not be connected.

3.1.2.4 GPS/DGPS/Beidou interface

The system can be connected with GPS/DGPS or Beidou of the ship to obtain relevant data. The interface specifications are as follows:

Interface type: RS-485 baud rate: 4800bps

Data bit: 8 Check bit: none

Stop bit: 1 Data format: NMEA-0183

3.1.2.5 Video interface

The system outputs digital video interface and standard PAL analog video signal to hard disk video recorder, which can also be used as interface for other equipment connection.

3.1.2.6 Network interface

The system outputs the network interface, which can be connected to the network switch in the ship. The computer in the network can access the hard disk video recorder through the network, so as to obtain the real-time picture of the photoelectric equipment.

3.2 Electrical equipment requirements

The demand of the system for power supply is AC 220V/50Hz, single-phase, power 300W. If the equipment calls again after power failure during operation, the user shall press the start button to power on and start again.

The equipment is powered from the air switch of the distribution box on board, and the rated current of the air switch is 5A.

The color of the indicator outside the cabin is white, and the surface of the exposed operation panel inside the cabin is black, which can also be determined according to the requirements of the shipowner and shipyard.

3.3 Characteristics

3.3.1 Functional characteristics

A. Forensics

After the video signal is input into DN60S, the output video image is superimposed with date (month, month, day), time (hour, minute, second), GPS (longitude and latitude), platform rotation angle, and heading with true north as the reference. The user also records the time (this time is the satellite time received by GPS, which need not be set), location, and direction at the same time as recording the image, so as to achieve the purpose of obtaining evidence;
B. Night vision

DN60S infrared thermal imager adopts 640 × The 480-pixel uncooled focal plane detector, 176/44mm dual-field switching lens and the combination of wide and narrow field of view enable operators to find targets more quickly.

DN60S adopts 500mm telephoto lens and 15W laser illuminator, which can clearly see the specification of 1m at 1.5km × The ship name and ship number of 1m meet the need of law enforcement vessels to obtain evidence at night.

C. Ease of use

The installation and operation of the system are the same as that of ordinary PTZ. Power on self-test correction, multiple switches do not affect the service life. During the whole system operation process, users do not need to make complex settings and use computers. All information is superimposed on the image and recorded. The operation is simple and intuitive. The equipment is designed according to the marine environment and made of corrosion-resistant materials. It is well sealed and can be washed directly with water.

D. Compatibility

PELCO-D control protocol is adopted, which is compatible with most of the PTZ and security keyboards on the market, and can be integrated with the ship's TV monitoring system, sharing display control and video equipment. Back-end equipment adopts mainstream standards, which is convenient for users to replace and low maintenance costs.

3.3.2 Technical performance indicators

3.3.2.1 System connection diagram and wiring description are as follows:
System connection diagram and wiring description (Figure 1)

The thin lines in the figure refer to the internal wiring of the equipment manufacturer, and the thick lines refer to the shipyard wiring. The shipyard wiring is described as follows:
